14/07/07 - Well the Alizay.co.uk concert was a huge success! There was a great crowd and we were received very well so a huge thanks goes out to the people of London who turned up to the event and also to Alizay.co.uk for hosting such an important concert.
24/06/07 - It's been a few months since the last update but Kang has been busy finishing off his final year at uni. Exams are now over, he has moved house and is currently renovating his studio so there has been a huge break in terms of music for him. He has set up a temp studio and has been working hard getting the album mixed and polished up.
01/03/07 - A small update today - A new album sampler has been put up called We're Here. Another hard hitting track pronouncing the arrival of the Tha Franchize Family, FP and Dead Beat Ent.
10/01/07 - A small update today - A new album sampler has been put up called Double F. This is a hard hitting track explaining what Tha Franchize Family is all about and what the abbreviation "Double F" stands for.
09/01/07 - There's not much happening at the moment, it's been a while since the last update and not much has changed. More tracks have been recorded for the album. More samplers will be uploaded over the next few days.
14/11/06 - A Small update today - A new album sampler has been added to the media section so check it out. The track is called Ambition. It's a hard hitting track that focuses on our admonition to strive for greatness as artists and as people. We make statements that we've set out to chase our dreams and we won't stop 'till we get there!
12/10/06 - A Small update today - A new album sampler has been added to the media section so check it out. The track is called The Journey. It's a hard hitting track that focuses on the journeys we as artists and people go through in life to get to where we are today. It's a track about one mans struggle to prove himself and show people including his family that he deserves to be here.
01/08/06 - A Small update today - A new album sampler has been added to the media section so check it out. The track is called Stand Up. It's a hard hitting, grimy Hip Hop track with a political edge focusing on the war in Iraq, the 7/7 bombings and the UK and US governments.
10/05/06 - A Small update today - A new album sampler has been added to the media section so check it out. The track is called We Marchin, We Movin and it is one of the hottest tracks so far. Its straight Hip Hop with an infectious flute melody. Check it out and let us know what you think.
26/04/06 - Well its been a while since the last update... Over 2 months now! There have been a number reasons why the site hasn't been updated, the biggest one being that it is the last few weeks of term at university and Kang has been busy with his head buried in books working on assignments and completing his dissertation.

30/08/05 - Sorry its been so long since the last update but Kang has been working hard on the album and also he took a few days out to go on holiday. A lot has been happening lately - a few tracks for the album have been recorded, the web site will be undergoing a huge re-design, the official FP gear is being designed and also Kang has appeared on the Desitunes4u.com... 10/08/05 - Thanks to everyone who e-mailed with feedback to the track 1984 - A Reminder....
18/07/05 - A new track has been uploaded to the Media area. The track is titled "1984 - A Reminder...". It was produced to bring to light what took place in India in 1984... The massacre on the Golden Temple and the Bombay riots.
02/06/05 - It’s been a while since the last update but Kang has been busy. Some new beats have been uploaded and they can be downloaded from the Media area. We've been receiving e-mails about the promos for Kang's instrumental album and they will be up very soon.
11/05/05 - Its been a while since the last update but Kang has been real busy bangin out some beats; he's been working on an instrumental album that will be up on the site soon, hopefully next month, although samples will be up this week. It’s an album he started a long time ago but had put on hold due to other projects demanding his attention. Also Kang has been working on some bootlegs that will be up on the site soon so watch this space.
04/04/05 - Kang has been working on some bootlegs for the radio, they are almost ready to be sent off - watch this space for more info regarding possible airplay times & download info. There are already some of his older bootlegs available for download in the Media area. Also Kang has been working hard in the studio putting his latest Mix tape/E.P together. There will be some crazy collab's on the new set. Check back for more info. Over the next couple of months Kang will also be collaborating with local artists and artists based in London appearing on various mix tapes and projects.
Onto some bad news now. For those of you who didn't get a CD at the concert but were given a flyer informing you to check out the website for the E.P. We apologise for the tracks not being up yet. The online download system that we had in place took a nose dive a few hours ago but we are told all should be up and working in a few hours so watch this space for the FREE tracks!

Now onto the major news... Kang and Tha Franchize will be performing at the Alizay.co.uk London Bridge Concert in Central London on the 14th July 12pm - 6pm at SeOne, London. Please show your support and try to attend. Tickets are only £10 and can be purchased from Alizay.co.uk. Free CDs and other goodies will be handed out at the concert including the Dead Beat Ent. E.P. which will give you a sample of what's to come on the album although no album tracks will be featuring on the E.P. There will be 6 new, different tracks on the E.P. for your listening pleasure! The E.P. will be available online AFTER the Alizay.co.uk concert so if you want the CD then get down to London!

Due to unreliable and unprofessional artists Kang's album may have to be pushed back yet again. This is extremely frustrating for him and for the people who have put a lot of hard work into the album and it is even more frustrating for Kang knowing that people want to hear more of his music and it's being delayed because of some seriously pig headed people out there who have no professional courtesy.
On a side note Kang has given us some exclusive beats for your listening pleasure and he has also promised a full length progressive instrumental for FREE download! It hasn't been all work and no play (so to speak)! Kang was in the lab this weekend with a few members from Coventry rap group The Franchise working on Kang's album. Three tracks were recorded and Kang is currently putting the finishing touches on those so hopefully next week he'll have them ready for the website. There will be more recording sessions over the next few weeks before Kang's exams start and hopefully we can start putting finishing touches on the album ready for a summer release.
Also watch this space for more info about the forth coming Dead Beat Entertainment website. Dead Beat Ent. is Kang's record label and he is already planning some hot collabs and releases for later on this year.

We hope everyone out there had a crazy Christmas and an even crazier new year! Kang has been extremely busy getting tracks recorded and meeting singers/rappers.
As you can see the album samplers are now up... so far only 3 tracks have been uploaded for your listening pleasure, more will follow once Kang is happy with the recordings.

As for the album - things are well under way and more tracks have been recorded. Kang has been working overtime in the studio trying to get tracks finished as quick as possible without compromising the quality of his work.

All but two beats for Kang album have been completed and his singers and rappers have begun work on the tracks. Recording will begin within the next two weeks and a mid September release is looking likely. The album, as yet untitled will be available to buy via the web site or in a number of towns across the UK. We have our street team ready to start selling the album out on the streets in London, Leicester, Birmingham and Nottingham. If you would like to join the street team then drop us an e-mail via the contact page.
The album will feature approximately 15 tracks and will cost about £5 if brought on the streets and about £7 if purchased off the web site (postage included) although these prices need to be finalised and confirmed and are likely to change.
